It's hard to believe I started my entrepreneurial journey twenty-six years ago! If you're doing the math, that was before things like Google and Facebook. I never really had a dream to be a business owner. I always knew I wanted to be BOSS, but it never occurred to me that I could be the boss of my OWN company! If we're just meeting for the first time, I'm Michelle and I am thrilled to welcome you to my online home. Around here the leggings stay on, the donuts stay fresh and the margaritas stay cold!

How it started ...
It was 2001 and I was about to have my FIRST baby!
I didn't know a thing about running a photography business! I only knew that one way or the other I would figure it out! At that time my only goal was to make enough money to stay at home until my daughter was off to kindergarten! Sending her to daycare every day was not something I was willing to accept!
She eventually headed off to school, but by that time she had two brothers and well, I never made it back to the corporate world that I once thought was my dream job.
Fun Fact: This sweet bride was married on December 15, 2001. I shot the wedding VERY pregnant and delivered my daughter fifteen days later on December 30th. When I say I was determined, I MEANT it!
Since we're becoming friends
I have a confession.
I have grown my business through many stages of my life including being a new Mom, having three kids under five, and now as a single mom to three adult children spreading their wings. It has truly been a privilege. And it's a privilege I think everyone should have. But...
There were many late nights and lots of tears on the bathroom floor.
For too long I struggled trying to do everything on my own. I often felt like I was failing as an entrepreneur AND mother. Can you relate?
